Vampires Suck Contest
Seltzerberg are back!
Seltzerberg are back!
I’ve created a new awards site, this time for music:
Come vote for the worst music of 2009!
Also known as Slumdog Virgin, this movie is supposed to be a parody of Judd Apatow’s flicks. But don’t worry, because we’ve created Slumdog Virgin Contest!
It’s been almost five months since the DVD release of Disaster Movie, and there hasn’t been a peep out of Hollywood that they’re giving Seltzerberg another chance. I’m going to be keeping this website alive, but the parody genre seems to be more or less dead right now, so until the genre revives itself I probably won’t be updating any more. The comments sections seem to have been compeltely invaded by spambots, so I’ll probably just be cleaning the comment sections every once and a while. In the meantime, the rest of my work is up at http://www.badnewscentral.com
One correction from my last post, it turns out the American Disaster Movie DVD does have special features. Why the Canadian version is completly stripped, I have no idea. If I can get my hands on an American copy, I’ll do a bit on the special features.
The Disaster Movie DVD hit shelves January 6, and of course I immediatly picked of a copy so I could get some screenshots for my review, and to do a thorough cover of the directors’ commentary and bonus features. Turns out there are none. So check out my old review if you want to see a bunch of of new screenshots, but otherwise there’s nothing new to talk about for the DVD. Sorry!
The Wayans brothers, I mean. Sorry about that. Thanks to Adam Mosquito for alerting me to their new movie, Dance Flick. The trailer is right here, and I’ll leave you to make up your own mind on whether these are the Don’t Be a Menace Wayans, or the White Chicks Wayans.
In other news, Chevy Chase and Burt Reynolds are gearing up for Not Another Not Another Movie, a spoof on parody flicks. I really couldn’t make that up if I tried. Just take a look at this cast list – I’ll definitely be updating once more information becomes available, because holy shit, that’s just freakin’ crazy.

The good news is that these aren’t real. These were sent to me by Adam Shawzi, who nearly gave me a heart attack until I read the rest of his email and found out he made these up.
With all the rumors I’ve received about the existence of a new “____ Movie” in the works, so far none of them have turned out to be true. I’ve also received a couple of entries from people wanting to get in early on the next contest. The obvious solution here is to contact anyone and everyone at Lionsgate, and see who knows what. I’m going to be making some calls over the weekend, but if you want to help, here’s what you can do:
Phone Lionsgate at 310-449-9200 (thanks Thomas) and see what you can learn. Post that info in the comments section of this entry. Surely one of us can find out something.
After being eaten by virus attacks not once, but twice, I’ve finally finished my review of Date Movie. There, now every single one of the _____ Movies has been written up online, and there’s no more reason for anyone else to see them again, ever.
